Alpe di Siusi: A gem in summer and in winter! It is the largest Alpine pasture in Europe, and with 57 km² it is as big as 8,000 football pitches. The Alp is situated between 1,680 m and 2,350 m altitude in the heart of the Dolomites. Sciliar, Sassolungo and Sassopiatto characterise the setting. With Sciliar and Catinaccio the western part of the Alp forms the nature park Sciliar-Catinaccio. The Alp is part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. The majestic rocks of the Dolomites are unique. The rugged mountains attract admirers with their unique colours. They sparkle at sunrise, reflect the sky in the rocks at lunchtime, and glow in a bright pink at sunset!
